for the Honda Prelude VTEC

This page catalogs the restoration of a 1992 JDM Prelude VTEC type BB1. There are and will be lots of pictures at each stage of the process.
This restoration started because my EDM 1995 Prelude VTEC eventually succumbed to the rust on the rear arches and on further investigation the rust had got down into the sills. I bought a JDM Prelude whilst looking for some rear arch repair panels on the internet. It was to be the donor car to be cut up and panels used to repair mine. On closer inspection of this donor Prelude, it became apparent that I had actually bought a car with a mint bodyshell. We could not fault the chassis in any way, so a decision was made to restore this car instead of repairing my original car. Wow! A lot of work! The plan is to swap all the interior and engine and running gear into this new car.01-05-2010 Original car condition and new shell stripdown
